In 2022, Gregory Hedrich designed the stage installation “Nevi the Monster” for the Mit Dir Festival in Germany. As the creative lead and head of a thirty-person team, he developed the concept for the Mühlenfloor and built an impressive three-dimensional monster sculpture — spray-painted on wood, precisely cut, and carefully crafted down to the smallest detail.
To bring the structure to life, Hedrich used video mapping with his own visual loops projected onto the form. The result was a hypnotic interplay of light, motion, and sound that transformed the stage into a living artwork. “Nevi the Monster” became an emblem of the Mit Dir Festival’s identity — a stage that transported the audience into a fantastical, surreal world.
